Blocks of Love

After building a very high block tower . . . .
The ice cream truck (music included) . . . .

Defeated the block tower. What could be more fun than that?

Valentines

Cole and his sweet Valentine, Abigail, decorating their Lemon cake made by scratch. It was really delicious.
Can you tell that Cole is salivating over the cake?

I helped in Quinn's 2nd grade class for the Valentine's party. It's still politically correct to call it what it is, as opposed to the Christmas party which is now called the Holiday Celebration.

Flowers and flour.

Did you know it's practically spring time here in Arizona? Can't tell you enough how much I love my Mesa, AZ! Had me a little planting time yesterday in someone else's yard so I figured I'd bring it back to my home and brighten up my front door. This makes my heart smile.
After planting the flowers outside in the unusually damp weather, I came in and made some
lemon-blueberry scones.
They were delicious.

The people in my family told me so.

Flowers and Dirt.

How's about goin over to the neighbor's back yard to plant 25 flowering plants to beautify the space where Em's reception is being held? Forget about using our own back yard . . .6 months later and it's still dirt! We weren't planning on hosting a party of this type so soon.

Miss. Kimber Reed. She's Kelly's little girl. My sister, Jody, brought her to help. Her tools came in handy!

Cole came out this morning draped in his snuggy. He informed us that this was his attire at the campout last weekend. The front shot is fine, it's the back I'm worried about. They don't mention anything about that in the "Snuggy" commercials. . . . .
That's my boy!

Truman & Emily after his band concert for the 6th graders. The band director asked the kids to dress in one of their extracurricular activities that they do other than band to show the 6th graders you can do band and other activities. Truman plays percussion a.k.a. the drums.
My lovely brood.
